Originally built as a large-scale commercial building in the 1970’s, the building was subsequently enlarged in bits and pieces horizontally and vertically over the years resulting in a 150,000 sq. ft. building on two floors. The resulting facade was lacking in a unifying element. The mandate consists in the preparation of a proposal for the renovation of the facades that brings some order, proportion, and design qualities to the building. The proposal also included upgrading the site with new landscaping in order to elevate the overall appearance of the building.
